  18. ‚Ä¢ If you don't use the selection tool to de-select the path you just drew, you get a (usually unwanted) line between the old path and your new click
  19. ‚Ä¢ Remember, AI draws a line between the currently selected point and any new pen click.
  20. ‚Ä¢ Just select Undo to get rid of the line.
  21. ‚Ä¢ To avoid this, don't forget to de-select the path before drawing a new one.
